ENGINEERING
At the core of our business is Structural Engineering, which is at the heart of our state-of-the-art fabrication facility on a 12,000 square metre site in Whakatu. With the capacity to process 2,500 - 3,000 tonnes a year, we have the space to confidently handle all large and small-scale building construction projects.
Our highly dedicated engineering team is comprised of over 35 qualified fabricator welders on our workshop floor, a large processing team who run our Peddinghaus equipment, our own in-house welding supervisors, and an internal welding inspector - all ably assisted by a number of administrative, project, design, and site installation staff.
While Hawke’s Bay is home, we’ve been known to roam, with work undertaken on sites in Palmerston North, Taranaki, Hamilton, Taupō, Wellington, Marlborough and even as far afield as Fiji, American Samoa, and North America.
We offer a full range of services from design through repair, fabrication, surface treatment, and site erection, and employ a group of team leaders, workshop supervisors and a workshop manager to ensure quality control on outgoing product. It’s this attention to detail that lead to Patton Engineering being awarded accreditation to AS/NZS ISO 3834/5131, providing clients with reassurance of traceability, workmanship and records for quality.
