Here in Hawke’s Bay, Patton Blast & Paint is leading the way in superior surface protection. Previously known as Hawke’s Bay Sandblasting, we work alongside Patton Engineering, and independently, to offer our clients cost-effective, high-quality surface finishes.
Our surface treatments extend to fabricated steel and structures, equipment, and components for a number of diverse clients, across a range of industries. We continuously update our processes and systems to ensure we remain ahead of the game, with an aim to be Hawke’s Bay’s leading surface protection provider.
WHAT WE OFFER
Our abrasive blasting booth measures eight metres wide by six metres high and twenty-six metres long, allowing for a large range of jobs to be processed through our in-house facilities.
Blasted structures are moved through our two painting booths where we can apply a range of surface protection systems to suit clients demands, specifications and environmental requirements.
We also offer Thermal Arc zinc spraying, with the latest equipment available to undertake a full range of services. Thermal Arc zinc spraying offers the same guarantee as Hot Dip galvanising, but where galvanising would typically have an 80-micron build, Thermal Arc zinc spray can be applied up to 200-microns. Because this process does not distort structural steel components, Thermal Arc zinc spraying is an ideal solution for structures which would typically be distorted through the galvanising process, and is becoming increasingly popular with our clients.
Overseen by our qualified NACE Level 1 and 2 Paint Manager, and underpinning our commitment to offering our clients the best advice, service, and quality surface treatments, Patton Painting and Blasting has achieved certification under ISO 14001 environmental standards.
