At Patton’s we offer a full range of services, ranging from simple and cost effective structural and mechanical repairs to complete complex turn-key project installation works. As well as the fabrication and site erection of our significant structural projects, we also provide workshop engineering and on-site maintenance and engineering support, as well as a 24/7 on-call engineering service.

We’ve worked with Pan Pac Forest Products for over forty years, providing both mechanical and structural engineering services, ranging from full design and installation of major projects (mechanical and structural), to on-site engineering and maintenance support. A summary of the key projects undertaken include:

  • Fabrication of approx 70 tonne Log chip conveyor – 3 stages
  • Provision of extensive on-site project & general maintenance support, including 24 hour shifts and on call staffing
  • Timber re-manufacturing plant facility
  • Planer Mill Bin Sorter Extension

Ravensdown

Client | Ravensdown Fertiliser Co-operative Limited, Location | Awatoto, Napier

We have a thirty-year relationship with Ravensdown, principally providing mechanical engineering services over this period. We undertake both large scale projects as well as provide general maintenance and 24 /7 on-call engineering support.

  • Manufacture of 304H Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel ducting
  • Manufacture and installation of new 30 plus tonne economisers
  • Main mechanical contractor for annual maintenance
  • Fabrication and installation of replacement acid pipework; inclusive of slippers, supports and brackets
  • Rebuilding and re-certification of acid and molten sulphur storage tanks
  • Demolition of redundant tanks and structures
  • General mechanical pump and equipment maintenance and reconditioning
  • Fabrication and installation of bespoke manufacturing plant and equipment such as conveyors, screening and sampling equipment
  • Provided mechanical engineering services as part of the re-fit of the fertiliser production factory. This was a four-month project, that also involved six months of pre-project planning. The total value of the project was $6,000,000.00, and we were engaged for approx. 50% of this
  • Large dispatch silos, hoppers and conveyors fabrication and installation
  • Overhead conveying systems for raw materials stores
