Structural Engineering

At the core of our business is a focus on Structural Engineering, which has been developed and nurtured over the years at Patton’s. Due to our growing engineering business, we relocated from our original premises on Stoneycroft Street to our current 4,500 square metre fabrication facility on a 12,000 square metre site in 2005.

With the capacity to process up to 400 tonnes per month, we can confidently handle all large and small scale building construction projects. Our engineering team is comprised of twenty qualified fabricator welders on our workshop floor, assisted by a number of administrative, project, design, and site installation staff.

While we enjoy servicing our regular local clients, some of our biggest projects have been undertaken at sites outside of Hawkes Bay, in locations such as Palmerston North, New Plymouth, Hamilton, Taupo, Wellington, Marlborough, and even as far afield as North America and American Samoa.

Patton Engineering offers a full range of services from design through repair, fabrication, surface treatment, and site erection. We have a highly dedicated workshop and fabrication supervisor who oversees all workshop operations and ensures quality control on outgoing product.

Accreditation to AS/NZS ISO 3834 awarded to Patton Engineering provides clients with reassurance of traceability, workmanship and records for quality.
