Reconstruction

The base casting for one of Pan Pac’s bale presses had a significant crack in it which had previously been unsuccessfully repaired.

Patton Engineering Limited undertook works to completely disassemble the entire press and it’s ancilliary equipment, and to rebuild from the ground up inclusive of new civil works and a replacement new base casting.

Some workshop fabrication of components was undertaken, in conjunction with ’round-the-clock’ site engineering works for 5 weeks for 16 staff members. 6 more staff were involved at Workshop level.
