In conjunction with Heat and Control; Patton Engineering Limited designed; fabricated, finished and installed an extensive Stainless Steel working platform and structure for the McCain’s Hastings production facility.

Post fabrication and prior to installation, the entire structure was glass bead blasted which resulted in a particularly fine, high-degree of surface finish. This process required a complete hygienic clean out of the entire blast booth, totally eliminating all garnet (our normal abrasive) from the abrasive blasting facility and equipment, prior to charging with glass beads; to avoid cross contamination, and negating the possibility of surface rust on the stainless steel through iron particulates remaining within the system.
